The 3 Maxwell Road Cluster Housing Project is our latest development and represents a significant design evolution from our previous project at 22D Boscobel. This 5-unit cluster is designed to offer a balanced blend of modern comfort and environmental sustainability, featuring five meticulously planned residences and a dedicated unit to house the cluster's caretaker. Each home is thoughtfully constructed to include three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a dedicated servant's quarter, ensuring ample space for both family living and support staff. The cluster has access to a borehole water supply running on solar power, and the cluster arrangement promotes a cohesive community atmosphere while maintaining individual privacy.
Design and Features
Architecturally, each house at 3 Maxwell Road boasts an open floor plan, maximising natural light and airflow. The three bedrooms are designed to provide comfortable, private retreats, while the two bathrooms are equipped with modern fixtures and energy-efficient systems. The addition of a servant's quarter ensures functional support for household needs. Sustainable features include a 5KVA solar system, a 5,000L water tank equipped with a hybrid booster pump, and a 300L solar geyser. The landscaping employs native plants and permeable surfaces to manage stormwater effectively and support local ecology.
Community Benefits
Beyond the individual homes, the 3 Maxwell Road project, nestled in the leafy suburb of Mount Pleasant, is designed to foster a strong sense of community and well-being. By integrating both private comforts and communal benefits with sustainable practices, this development not only provides modern, eco-friendly living solutions but also cultivates a supportive and engaged neighbourhood environment.
